New Sushi Place in Town: Former China Moon Changes Hands

Northborough welcomes a sushi place to town.

After the past two restaurants located at 259 West Main St. suffered from problems related to Board of Health inspections, the business will again change hands.

Formerly China Moon, and before that Great Wall, the Board of Selectmen have approved a Common Victualler License for Shangri-La Yaki Sushi.

Owner Lian Zhao, who attended the public hearing on June 24, had requested that the hearing be postponed because proposed manager dong Lin was out of the country. The board, however, considered and approved the license in order to allow the restaurant to open without alcohol prior to July 15.

The public hearing for the new wine and malt license will take place at the board's July 15 meeting.
