"One of the more modern Cumberland Farms, with the gas added in," will be built at the former Northborough Gulf site in downtown Northborough, Project Suoervisor Rick Kelley said Wednesday.
A March opening is expected, Kelley said.
Northborough Gulf recently closed at the site, 15 Main St.

Cumberland Farms is in association with Gulf, Kelley said.
The entire site will be demolished, with work starting this week, he said.

The new convenience store will be set "back a little further" than the former gas station, Kelley said.
