Winter Storm Warning For Northborough
Heavy snow is predicted through the evening.
The National Weather service has issued a winter storm warning, predicting heavy snow for Northborough and the surrounding area between 7 a.m. today and 1 p.m. Friday. Heavy, wet snow and strong winds are expected to adversely impact travel, particularly Thursday night into Friday morning. A snow accumulation of 1-2 inches is expected for Thursday, and 3-5 additional inches on Thursday night. A winter storm warning is issued when 6 or more inches of snow is expected within a 12 hour period, or 8 or more inches are expected in 24 hours.
