A Gardner man faces multiple charges after an assault that occurred in Northborough last week.
A Gardner man is facing charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, attempted murder and aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon after allegedly stabbing someone in the chest at a home in Northborough on Friday night, according to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. Donald F. William, 56, of 240 Pearl St., Gardner, was held on $5,000 cash bail or $50,000 surety after his arraignment in Westboro District Court Monday, said the Telegram. The Telegram incorrectly reports that William stabbed one man and beat another with a baseball bat. The assault only involved two men, with William being charged with the stabbing.
