Tube for School

It's fun, it's exhilarating, it's a good deal ... and it benefits the Peaslee School.

Even if you didn't sign up for the big tubing extravaganza at the Ski Ward in Shrewsbury on Saturday, Feb. 2, it's not too late to join in the fun. Go tubing from 6-8 p.m. for $22, payable to Peaslee PTO, which reminds you, "If you didn't officially sign up but still want to go, you can just meet everyone at the tent near the tubing area at 6 pm, pay, and slide right into all the evening fun! Ski Ward is busy making snow overnight so the event is on!"

Patch Gets Up in Your Business

If Reindeer Can Ski, So Can You

A group of Patch employees went to Ski Ward to receive a lesson.

Patch headed to "snow school" at the Ski Ward in Shrewsbury last week, with editor Charlene Arsenault taking some first-ever downhill skiing lessons. Patch the reindeer always wedges his way onto the scene, and did so again this time. Snow School at the Ski Ward employs more than 100 instructors for its ski and snowboard classes. Racing instruction, too, is available. Classes are available for groups, individuals, and all ages.
