Nine School Projects Get C9 Mini-Grants
The chamber of commerce awarded 19 mini-grants totaling $6,449.92.
Nine projects in Northborough schools are among 19 Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce mini-grant recipients, all area Kindergarten to grade 12 educators. Marisa Marzilli and Amanda Sharpe at the Proctor School received a mini-grant for "Let the Fun Begin" said chamber officials said Friday in a press release. Dominique LePaul, from the Melican School, also received a grant for "Copying the Masters!" and Gretchen Bean and Jennifer Callaghan, also teachers at Melican, received one for "Journey to Jo'Burg—A Struggle for Freedom and Dignity."
