State Police Asking Public's Help in Finding Road Rage Shooter

Submitted by the Massachusetts State Police On Sunday at 12:17 p.m., an apparent road rage incident on Route 495 northbound in Merrimac, MA, resulted in a 16-year-old female being shot one time in the upper arm. Troopers from the State Police Barracks in Newbury responded to the area and are currently securing a number of areas as potential crime scenes. Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit for Essex County, Crime Scene Services Section, and Ballistics Section are assisting with the investigation.
