Algonquin Regional and Westborough's Thanksgiving rivalry continues Thursday at the Rangers' home field.
Bragging rights will be at stake at Westborough High School this Thanksgiving when the Tomakawks take on the Rangers. "No matter what the records are going in, it's anybody's game," said Ellis, who's in his 16th season at Westborough, the last 12 as head coach. The Tomahawks take on their rivals, the Westborough Rangers, on Thanksgiving.
The ARHS varsity football team once again takes on its annual rivals, Westborough High School, in a Thanksgiving Day matchup on their home turf. Teams take to the field at 10:15 a.m., and tickets are $5. "It should be a great game this year," said Algonquin Head Coach William Long. "Both teams have had their ups and downs this year, so you know the kids from both squads are going to fight tooth and nail to end the season on a high note. I know our seniors—CPT Zach Meath, CPT Kyle vaccaro, Tim Hanlon, Mike Babine and Jordan Entwistle—will give it everything they have to ensure a victory."
