Gun Control Discussion Held in Northborough

The executive director of the Gun Owners Action League is the guest speaker.

To make informed decisions, citizens must understand basic terminology, proposed solutions and the probable consequences. Jim Wallace, executive director of the Gun Owners Action League (GOAL) addresses those issues in his presentation “Gun Control Status Report: Federal & State,” Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Northborough Free Library. Movie 'The Agenda — Grinding America Down' Showing at Library

On Tuesday, the Northborough library shows the movie "The Agenda."

The Northborough Tea Party is sponsoring a showing of the movie The Agenda — Grinding America Down on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. at the Northborough Free Library.  The movie is described as "a documentary film on why many Americans hate america and our country’s exceptionalism." According to the Northborough Tea Party's website, author Shelby Steele recently pointed out in the Wall Street Journal an opinion peice that post-'60s liberals "seek to make a virtue of decline. Why? They feel that America's exceptional status in the world follows from a bargain with the devil – an indulgence in militarism, racism, sexism, corporate greed, and environmental disregard.” The Agenda, says the Tea Party, asks and tries to answer what precipitated …
