While posts on Twitter and Facebook are predominantly, and understandably, focused on the mass murder at the Sandy Hook Elementary School on Friday, perhaps the most viral is the "PETITION: SIGN the Sandy Hook Elementary School National Sympathy Card." Surely you've gotten more than one "your voice will make a difference" and link to the petition on your Facebook page. As reported on the cause's page, in less than 48 hours, 1,000,000 had signed the card, and it had been shared more than a million times.
