A Mashpee man was charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
A two-day investigation has led to the arrest of a Mashpee man who stole numerous items from BJ's, including Bose speakers and surveillance video equipment. Christopher Sean Eld, 46, 82 Blue Spruce Way, Mashpee, was arrested and charged with eight counts of larceny over $250, defacing property, and misleading a police investigation. Eld also was arrested on a warrant for previous shoplifting charges. The Asset Prevention Team at BJ's initially reported on Wednesday, March 6, that store employees found an empty package that had contained Bose speakers.
