A group that was involved in the theft of baby formula in Littleton may be the same group that struck in Northborough.

A group possibly involved in a baby formula thefts in Littleton, and other towns, is being investigated by Northborough police. On Wednesday, police received information that there was possibly a group involved in shoplifting baby formula from the Northborough CVS. Let Patch save you time. Surveillance Helps Nab Thief Who Stole Surveillance Equipment

A Mashpee man was charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

A two-day investigation has led to the arrest of a Mashpee man who stole numerous items from BJ's, including Bose speakers and surveillance video equipment. Christopher Sean Eld, 46, 82 Blue Spruce Way, Mashpee, was arrested and charged with eight counts of larceny over $250, defacing property, and misleading a police investigation. Eld also was arrested on a warrant for previous shoplifting charges. The Asset Prevention Team at BJ's initially reported on Wednesday, March 6, that store employees found an empty package that had contained Bose speakers. The protection team was able to identify on surveillance video the suspect removing the speakers from the packages, said police. "At the time they suspected that this thief was responsible …
