People have asked Patch, 'What is the latest on the murder charges stemming from the incident at Motel 6 last year?"
In August, two suspects pled not guilty to murder charges stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred at Motel 6 in Northborough. James Howze, 20, and Lara Cori, 22, both of 37 Harvard St., Providence, were charged with the murder of Joseph Webster, a Worcester man whose last known whereabouts was at Motel 6 with Howze and Cori in March. Many have asked, "what is the latest on this murder case?" Howze and Cori last appeared in Worcester Superior Court on Feb. 11, and will next appear before the judge on April 29, according to Tim Connolly, spokesperson for the Worcester District Attorney's office. "It is moving along, but no date has been set for a trial," said Connolly.

A murder suspected to have occurred at Motel 6 in Northborough brings two defendants forward, both pleading not guilty to the charges.
Two charged with the murder of a Worcester man were arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on Tuesday, and pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to Tim Connolly, communications director for the Worcester District Attorney. James Howze, 20, and Lara Cori, 22, both of 37 Harvard St., Providence, were charged with the murder of Joseph Webster, a Worcester man whose last known whereabouts was at Motel 6 in Northborough with Howze and Cori. Northborough police had visited the Motel 6 for a well-being check on March 16, which subsequently led to a search during which they located a "substantial amount of blood" in the room. A Worcester County Grand Jury handed up murder indictments on Friday for two Providence R.I. residents who were involved in the disappearance and death of a 19-year-old Worcester man, according Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. Joseph P. Webster of Worcester last known whereabouts were with the two suspects at Motel 6 in Northborough, according to police. Lara Cori, 22, and James Howze, 19, both of 37 Harvard St., Providence were indicted for murder. Howze also was indicted today for larceny of a motor vehicle. They are both held without bail and will be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court at a future date. Suspects in the homicide of Joseph Webster face murder charges in an incident that led police to search a room at Motel 6.
James Howze muttered angrily as he was led in to Westborough District Court on Thursday morning to face charges in a murder that led police to a bloody crime scene at Motel 6 in Northborough last month. Lara Cori, 22, and James Howze, 22, both of 37 Harvard Ave., Providence, RI, were arraigned on murder charges, charged in the killing of Joseph Webster from Worcester. Cori's bail was requested at $100,000 and Howze at $500,000. Judge Vito Virzi ordered both held without bail. Both pleaded not guilty. Police discovered the body presumed to be that of a 19-year-old Worcester man on Tuesday in Providence, RI, not far from the apartment of the two suspects charged in his disappearance, according Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. It is believed that Joseph P. Webster of 104 Brattle St., Worcester, reported missing by his family on March 13, was found in a storage container on Wesleyan Avenue. The body was discovered by a Rhode Island State Police K-9 unit. The Rhode Island Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and will conduct an autopsy.
