Can you name the place just by the looks of this sandwich?
So, you think you know Northborough's restaurants well? Well enough where you can guess where the food came from just by a picture? OK, then let's play. This week, we're looking at a ham sandwich on some fresh bread. Include your guess in the comment section. Northborough Patch will reveal the answer by Friday. Everyone who guesses correctly gets his or her name thrown in to a hat. The name that is picked gets a Patch water bottle. And these bottles are pretty snazzy. Let's play!

You are playing "Guess the Restaurant" and one of the newest members of the AVM Apprentice Program hails from Northborough.
According to a Northborough Patch poll, 73 percent of you feel that as paying customers, National Grid should not have taken so long to restore power. However, 23 percent of people who voted in the poll said that the company was doing the best they could given their resources. As mentioned in the Nov. 3 Northborough Patch article, "National Grid was forced to lay off some 1,200 workers earlier this year..." Northborough Patch blogger Ron Goodenow supports the majority of the voters in his comment and offers his own explanation, "The service provided by this company has been ghastly. It is what happens under deregulation when foreign investors move in and are both clueless about local customer service and such things as preventive …

This week, readers expressed mixed feelings about the grand opening of Wegmans, told us about "Tackling Diabetes" and played "Guess the Restaurant."
"Yes, I'll be there for the opening and might bring pom-poms!" was the choice 52 percent of polltakers made when asked if they would attend the grand opening of Wegmans in an Oct. 13 Northborough Patch article. After the opening had broken an all-time Wegmans record of 25,000 customers, you were asked if you ended up going to the new grocery store. To this poll, 41 percent responded, "I did and loved it." While these numbers are relatively high in support of attending the opening, several readers had different opinions. Reader FF said, "I, for one, will not, and not just this upcoming weekend. The infrastructure in the 9/20 area is horrendous." Kair commented, "I will also not attend any grand opening and most likely will NOT shop the …
