Krystle Campbell Mourned at Medford Funeral

Somber mood throughout Medford Monday for bombing victim's funeral, no protesters present.

A deep sadness permeated downtown Medford Monday for the funeral of Krystle Campbell, a native daughter killed one week ago in the bombings attacks at the Boston Marathon.  The funeral brought out hundreds, lining both sides of High Street as traffic was shut down near St. Joseph's Church.  So many came out that the church got to capacity with many still lined up past the St. Joseph's Social Center. While they came to pay their respects to Campbell, 29, who most recently lived in Arlington and worked as a restaurant manager, many also came to shield the family from a potential protest. Services for Courtney Wetzel This Week

Wetzel, 41, died on March 22 at age 41.

Courtney Camille (Kelley) Wetzel,  41, of Northborough and formerly of North Reading, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22, at home surrounded with the love of her family.  Wetzel was born in Melrose on Oct. 10, 1970. She was raised in Melrose and graduated from Pope John High School, class of 1988. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Salem State College in 1992 and her Master’s Degree from Lesley University in 2009. Wetzel was a devoted teacher at Meritor Academy in Middleton and the Annie L. Sargent Elementary School in North Andover.  Wetzel loved traveling, especially with Todd and the kids to Aruba and the Turks and Caicos.
