Weekend Forecast: Please Say It Ain't Snow

The National Weather Service and many of the local weather forecasters are calling for snow again this weekend.

Depending on which forecast you trust, Northborough could get anywhere between a half and three quarter inches (yes, it's that specific) to a foot of snow. Northborough received about two feet earlier this month from the Blizzard of 2013. The National Weather Service reported there is a "high probability for a strong coastal storm to impact Southern New England late Saturday night into Sunday. Possible heavy wet snow to portions of the region along with strong winds along the coast. Exact specifics are still uncertain at this time given it's still 3-4 days away." According to the National Weather Service, Northborough's facing a "hazardous outlook" this afternoon.

It's been a good one so far, but anyone planning a barbecue or event Sunday afternoon or evening might want to plan on taking it inside. According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms are likely after 2 p.m. On Sunday evening, it's the same outlook: chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high of 65 degrees. Put on your long pants and grab an umbrella to put by the doorway. The forecast for Independence Day looks slightly more promising for the Northborough area, but not much. The weather service reports that Monday will see this: "A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 87.
