Mo Tougas Nominated for Distinguished Service Award

Maurice Tougas was recognized by fellow farmers.

Maurice "Mo" Tougas, who owns the popular Tougas Farms right here in town, was given the nomination for the distinguished John Ogonowski Award, as reported in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. The award is given to a "Massachusetts Farm Bureau Federation member who has shown distinguished service to the organization and to the agricultural community as a whole."

As a resident who remembers being able to take a right to go up Ball Hill.....Before 290 was around, it brings back many happy memories of driving up for apples & peaches with my Dad. [VIDEO] Trombetta's is Back in Business, For Real, This Time

It may be out of a trailer, but Trombetta's is dishing out ice cream and drinks during the fall months.

A few weeks ago, Trombetta's reported it was opening back up. It was a false alarm, as the family farm stand had to wait until the blacktop was put in at 277 Main St. first. It's now back in business, serving from a trailer until the 1950s ranch the family bought is renovated into its second permanent home.
