Marie A. (Tacconi) Flanigan, 88, died on July 20 at the Coleman House in Northborough surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her devoted husband of 67 years, John “Jack” Flanigan and 6 children. Kathy Ford and her husband Bill of Medfield; Renie Martin and her husband Bruce of South Berwick, ME.; Jay Flanigan and his wife Linda of Northborough; Robert Flanigan and his wife Sharon of North Brookfield; Peter Flanigan of Northborough; and Richard Flanigan and his wife Lynne of Pepperell. Marie has 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Additional information and services provided by Hays Funeral Home.

Mary E. (Clarke) Brillhart died on Saturday, July 7, in Venice, FL after a brief illness. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Anne Wright of Shrewsbury. Michael Brillhart of Columbia, SC, Donna Soohoo and her husband David, Theresa Giles and her husband Kenneth, Daniel Brillhart and his wife Charlotte all of Northborough. This Natick native and Westborough resident volunteered at food pantries across the state, including Northborough.
Eileen (MacIntosh) Capobianco, formerly of Natick, died Sunday June 24, 2012 at her home in Westborough. Capobianco was a longtime volunteer at many nonprofits, namely food pantries. She was a longtime volunteer at the Northborough Food Pantry, staffing the pantry every Wednesday morning and making reminder calls to the volunteers about their schedules. "Eileen went out of her way to help clients feel welcome at the pantry and to help them find the specific food item they were looking for," said Sarah Rothery, director at the Northborough Food Pantry. Jaromir “Mirek” Kocandrle, 61, died on Monday, April 9, after a short battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years, Nancy L. (Spannbauer) Kocandrle; his son, Rudy Kocandrle of Northborough; his daughter, Emily Kocandrle of Northborough; his mother, Vera (Fornouzova) Kocandrle; and his sister, Vera Holt of Australia. He is predeceased by his father, Antonin Kocandrle. Kocandrle was born in the Czech Republic and moved to Australia in 1968. A trumpet player, he graduated from Duntroon Royal Military College in 1977. Courtney Camille (Kelley) Wetzel, 41, of Northborough and formerly of North Reading, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22, at home surrounded with the love of her family. Wetzel was born in Melrose on Oct. 10, 1970. She was raised in Melrose and graduated from Pope John High School, class of 1988. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Salem State College in 1992 and her Master’s Degree from Lesley University in 2009. Wetzel was a devoted teacher at Meritor Academy in Middleton and the Annie L. Sargent Elementary School in North Andover.
