Town Restructures DPW
Northborough makes a small shift in the DPW.
A minor shift in the organization of the DPW will allow for more efficiency, and for DPW Director Dan Nason to focus on his priorities, said Town Administrator John Coderre, who announced the changes at the Board of Selectmen meeting on Monday night. The reorganization, which was approved by the board, includes formalizing the parks and recreation superintendent position, appointing a part-time conservation agent, eliminate the vacant cemetery superintendent position, and, most importantly, moving Town Engineer Fred Litchfield under the "umbrella" of the DPW to "better coordinate."
