VP candidate Paul Ryan mentioned the Nixons of Northborough, whom Mitt Romney helped after their sons were paralyzed in a crash.
During the vice presidential debate Thursday night, Republican candidate Paul Ryan referenced Mitt Romney in an effort to shed some light on the "real guy" behind the politics. The comments referenced an accident that occurred in 1994, paralyzing two brothers from Northborough. Ryan said he talked to the Nixon family recently.
