K-8 Might See $1 Million Increase in FY2014
Superintendent Charles Gobron presented a preliminary budget Wednesday.
The budget for Northborough's K-8 schools could increase by as much as $1 million for FY2014, according to a presentation given by Superintendent of Schools Charles Gobron, reported the Northborough Daily Voice. Gobron presented on Wednesday the preliminary budget, which shows a 4.97 percent increase from FY2013. The increases include employee contracts and extra staffing for ELL and special education, reported the Daily Voice, and also reflect a loss in grant funding.
