Ham Radio Enthusiast, Football Coach, Dies After a Long Illness
Northborough resident Emil "Bill" DuPont's services will be held privately.
Emil "Bill" DuPont died at his home on Sept. 4 after a long illness, as reported in DuPont's obituary on legacy.com. A resident of Northborough, and proud Navy Veteran, DuPont coached Pop Warner football for many seasons before becoming a high school referee. Born and raised in the Hudson/Marlborough area, Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years, Juliette Sweeten DuPont, and faithful dog, Rocky. He also leaves many nieces and nephews in both Massachusetts and Florida, his friends Eddie Roman and his family of Shrewsbury, and the Dorey family of Northborough. Services will be held privately.
