The official Patch Applefest Street Fair 2012 video that you should watch.
It was windy, but nothing a few rocks couldn't solve, holding down papers and items where need be. The parking lot at Algonquin Regional High School was packed this past Saturday afternoon, thousands of people swarming the booths and watching the activities at the annual Applefest Street Fair. Check out our video of the sights and sounds, dances, apples and faces, of Appefest 2012. You could order a prayer by a guy at a steel drum, catch apples from Wegmans, enter a drawing by the Northborough Recreation Department and jump around in the moonbounce or on the fire truck. Whether you went to Applefest, or missed it, you should check out our video; surely you'll know some faces in the crowd, including your own. 3. The Rotary Club meets at 12:15 p.m. at Romaine's Wood Bar and Grill. 4. The Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. at the town hall, discussing mixed use and commercial zoning issues. 5. Fall is a great time for soups and stews. We'd like to get some recipe sharing going. Do you have any wonderful simmering pots of goodness you'd like to share with the class? Please do below in our comments section.

Friday evening's activities include a magic show at the Melican School from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday's street fair, sponsored by the Northborough Rotary Club, usually sets up downtown, will move over to the upper parking lot of Algonquin Regional High School. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, vendors and exhibitors will line up tables passing out, and selling, food and wares. Say hello to Northborough Patch …
