What did you learn on Patch this week?
The Northborough Senior Center held its annual picnic. A barbecue, strawberry shortcake and a show by Jug O' Punch made it a great time. Northborough Patch was there, and captured the event with a photo gallery and video. The town lost a good friend this week in Adele Beatty, who lost her battle with cancer. Beatty was the town clerk for quite a few years, and continued to serve Northborough by volunteering her time. Here, present clerk Andy Dowd remembers Beatty. The driver bent over to pick up some papers off the floor, and ended up swiping two telephone poles on Church Street. Northborough Patch was on the scene. Two of the four teens accused of beating another teen in Shrewsbury last year were found guilty and were placed on probation…

On Tuesday, June 21st, we lost one of our most active and dedicated Patriots – Adele Beatty. Northborough Tea Party’s first trip to Washington was an overnight bus ride in November, 2009.
