Who Will Win the "Cupcake Wars"?

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Northborough.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Attend a candlelight service.

Rice Memorial Baptist Church holds a candlelight service at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

2. Watch the Cupcake Wars.

The Northborough Free Library offers cupcake decorating at 2 p.m. Friday.
 
3. Hear stories.

The library offers a winter storytime at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Registration is required.

4. Root for the Tomahawks.

Here is Monday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:

  • Varsity gymnastics: vs. Wachusett, at Giguere Gymnastics, 10 a.m.
  • Varsity girls ice hockey: at Methuen, noon
  • JV boys basketball: at Westford Academy, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity boys basketball: at Westford Academy, 7:15 p.m.

5. Play Cribbage.

The Northborough Senior Center offers it at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
