Monday Essentials: School Starts; ZBA Considers Variance for Development

Take a look at the week ahead.

1. The Northborough Free Library added Belkin Family Lookout Farm to its list of free passes available to local families. The library has a huge list of places Northborough families can visit, for free, just be reserving the passes. 

2. Those who live and drive on Otis Street will continue to be affected this week, as the construction schedule had some changes. Make sure you're up to date with the latest. 

3. Ready to start school this week? Students return to class on Aug. 28. Learn all about Algonquin's new athletic director, Karrah Ellis, with Northborough Patch's interview here. 

4. Do you play bridge? Every Wednesday, groups gather at the Senior Center for Chicago style games. 

5. The ZBA meets this week, holding a public meeting that includes on its agenda consideration for a horizontal mixed use development on West Main Street.
