Monday Essentials: Learn About School Safety
Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Northborough.
It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Learn about Destination Imagination.
An information session will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Northborough Free Library.
2. Join the Northborough Historical Society.
The group holds its first monthly meeting of the season on Friday, beginning with a pot luck supper at 6:30 p.m.
3. A new jewelry store is opening.
Heart & Stone Jewelry's grand opening is at 11 a.m. Saturday at 269 West Main St. 3A.
4. Learn about school safety.
A school safety readiness forum will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Algonquin Regional High School.
5. Root for the Tomahawks.
Here is Monday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:
- Golf: at Shrewsbury, at Mount Pleasant Country Club, 3:30 p.m.
- JV volleyball: vs. Hopkinton, 3:30 p.m.
- Freshman volleyball: vs. Hopkinton, 3:30 p.m.
- Varsity volleyball: vs. Hopkinton, 5 p.m.
