Discuss a Book on Monday Night

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Northborough.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Discuss "The Round House."

The Northborough Free Library's Monday Evening Book Club meets at 7 p.m. Monday.

2. Attend the selectmen's meeting.

The board meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the Northborough Town Hall Offices. The agenda includes a presentation on the CodeRED emergency notification system.
 
3. Catch a concert.

The fifth-grade chorus and band concert is at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lincoln Street Elementary School.

4. Root for the Tomahawks.

Here is Monday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:

  • Varsity girls ice hockey: vs. Medfield, at New England Sports Center, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity gymnastics: at Acton-Boxboro, 6:30 p.m.
  • Varsity boys ice hockey: vs. Westborough, at NorthStar Ice Sports, 7:30 p.m.

5. Power up.

The Peaslee Panda Power Hour is from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday.
