Brazer, Gore Win at Wallace Invitational

Here are the Tomahawks who finished in the top 10 during the meet, held at Wachusett on Saturday, courtesy of First Time Out and Coolrunning.com.

Senior Sam Brazer won the mile, and sophomore Jacob Gore won the 300 meter dash, as the Algonquin Regional High School varsity boys indoor track team competed in Saturday's John Wallace Invitational.

Here are the Tomahawks who finished in the top 10 during the meet, held at Wachusett on Saturday, courtesy of First Time Out and Coolrunning.com:

  • shot put: senior Brian Sweeter, fourth, 36 feet, 10.5 inches. freshman Dan Logan, tenth, 33 feet and .25 inches.
  • high jump: sophomore Jacob Gore, tied for third, 5 feet, 6 inches.
  • two-mile: sophomore Patrick Sullivan, third, 11:12; senior Nick Bowker, fourth, 11:17.9; sophomore Evan Nelson, tenth, 12:01.7.
  • 55 meter hurdles: sophomore Michael McCormack, fifth, 8.9; junior Nick Defeudis, sixth, 9.6; senior James Harvey, eighth (tied), 9.9.
  • 55 meter dash: senior Malik Daley, second (tied), 6.9.
  • one mile: senior Sam Brazer, first, 4:59.8; senior Glenn Harlen, seventh, 5:29.3.
  • 600 meter run: senior Matt Palmer, fifth, 1:39.4.
  • 300 meter dash: Gore, first, 39.0; senior Gabe Vazquez, fourth, 40.3; sophomore Nicholas Hong, tenth, 42.3
  • 1000 meter run: sophomore Max Michaud, second, 2:52.2; senior Robert Kerstens, third, 2:53.3; senior Joshua Ufland, ninth, 3:09.9; junior Alex Dowd, tenth, 3:12.0.
