The Rec Center's Got Programs for Adults, Too
The Recreation Department also has programs for adults. Keep that in mind.
Most know that the Northborough Recreation Department has plenty of programs for kids. But not everyone is aware, as director Allie Lane points out, that there are a variety of programs for adults, too.
Below is a list of current programs for adults:

At Project Jay Fitness
Tired of the same ol' boring fitness classes? Are you ready to try something new, challening and exciting? Well then, R.I.P.P.E.D. is for you!! R.I.P.P.E.D. is the "One Stop Body Shock." This total body "plateau proof fitness formula" workout utilizes Resistance, Intensity, Power, Plyometric's, Endurance and Diet components to help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable and extremely effective. Join the instructors at Project Jay Fitness for this package of 10 classes to experience what R.I.P.P.E.D can do for you!

“Let’s Move” Personal Fitness Training
At Project Jay Fitness
Looking for that motivation to get started working out before the holiday's? We can help you out! The "Let's Move" Personal Training Program is centered around jump-starting your health and wellness routine and getting you on the fast track to a healthier you. This program will show you the benefits of having the guidance and motivation of a personal trainer, access to Project Jay Fitness for one month, as well as a Free initial consultation with a nutritionist.
One of PJF's certified personal trainers will meet with you for 5, 30-min private training sessions (scheduled at your convenience) to discuss and work towards your fitness goals. You will learn the fundamentals of exercise, while being inspired, motivated and challenged with the latest in exercising techniques and functional movements. A certified fitness nutritionist will go over your current nutrition habits and guide you in the right direction towards your goals.
Upon completion of the program you will have had a great exposure to all that is offered and the self-assurance and knowledge needed in order to continue moving forward towards your health and wellness goals.

Body Sculpting for Women
Women’s strength training program designed to tone and strengthen muscles and improve posture using free weights and your own body resistance. Bring a workout mat and water. Minimum of 6, max of 12.

Dates: Session 2: January 6—March 10
Time: 7-8pm

Yoga (Gentle)
Yoga is an ancient practice, uniting mind, body, and spirit. With an emphasis on concepts of mindfulness and healthy living, our class incorporates yoga postures, breathing, relaxation, and meditative techniques. The gentle pace of this class is geared towards beginners and those who are looking for less focus on physically vigorous movement. You’ll enjoy all of the benefits of yoga, including increased strength, flexibility and balance, as well as stress reduction. Please bring a yoga mat, eye pillow and blanket if desired. Minimum of 6.

Dates: Winter: Dec. 31—March 18 (skip Jan. 21 & Feb. 18)

Yoga is an ancient practice, uniting mind, body, and spirit. Yoga is a great tool to manage stress and anxiety, helping to balance the fast pace and challenges of life. It will also enhance your strength, balance, flexibility, and well-being. Belly Dancing (Advanced)
Come learn the art of belly dancing by shimmying your way through the seasons with a great way of expressing your femininity while getting a good workout! Sorry, not for beginners. To find a beginners class, go to Gypsy’s site at www.gypsymoondancecompany.com. Minimum of 7, max 15.
