3 Tomahawks Win Events at Wallace Girls Meet

Here are the Tomahawks who finished in the top 10 during the meet, held at Wachusett on Saturday, courtesy of First Time Out and Coolrunning.com.

Senior Annie Sullivan won the two-mile, senior Kyra Shreeve won the mile, and junior Serena Hooker won the 300 meter dash as the Algonquin Regional High School varsity girls indoor track team competed in Saturday's John Wallace Invitational.

Here are the Tomahawks who finished in the top 10 during the meet, held at Wachusett on Saturday, courtesy of First Time Out and Coolrunning.com:

  • shot put: senior Sarah Jackson, third, 27 feet, 4.5 inches; senior Tori Zieminski, fifth, 25 feet, 7.5 inches; senior Marissa Rawlings, eighth, 24 feet, 10 inches.
  • high jump: senior Chelsey Thompson, third, 4 feet, 8 inches; senior Bridget Owen, fourth (tied). 4 feet, 6 inches.
  • two-mile: senior Annie Sullivan, first, 12:38.
  • 55-meter hurdles: sophomore Anna Dlouha, third, 9.8; Thompson and junior Samantha Falkowski, sixth (tied). 10.4.
  • one-mile: senior Kyra Shreeve, first, 5:59.3
  • 600-meter run: senior Alisha Faherty, fourth, 1:58.7; senior Lindsay Brown, seventh, 2:01.5
  • 300-meter dash: junior Serena Hooker, first, 45.4; senior Bridget Owen, third, 46.5; senior Abby McCann, fourth, 46.7; sophomore Kaitlyn Shreeve, ninth, 49.0.
  • 1000-meter run: senior Emily Dahlstrom. fourth, 3:28.5; senior Maddie Partridge, ninth, 3:52.8.
