Remember the days when students didn't head back to class until after Labor Day?
Not so, anymore.
The Northborough public schools "report for duty," meaning the first day of the 2013-2014 school year starts, on Wednesday, Aug. 28. The following Monday, Sept. 2, is Labor Day, though, and that's a day off.
Now get back to the pool and try not to think about this.
