Northborough High Alumni Earn Another 'Whereas'
Monday night, selectmen proclaimed Saturday, Oct. 5 as Northborough's 141st Homecoming Day.
Northborough High School alumni have earned another "whereas" from selectmen.
Monday night, the board proclaimed Saturday, Oct. 5 as Northborough's 141st Homecoming Day.
The Northborough High School Alumni Association's 141st reunion will be held that day, from 3 to 8 p.m., at the White Cliffs, association member Richard Sargent told the board.
The alumni requested "a proclamation with all of the 'whereases' in there," he said.
"We have tons of them already, but one more would be needed," Sargent said.
The high school association formed in 1870, he said.
"Last year, we had a nice attendance from the Class of 1962 from Algonquin, which has really rejuvenated the whole association," Sargent said.
"The young blood is really making a difference."
