Incredibly Cool Photo of the Day: The Whiffenpoofs and the Penguins

Pat Rutan, a 2008 graduate of , is a member of the Whiffenpoofs of Yale University, and the group made a visit to Antarctica in January.

Rutan sang in the choruses, All-States, and All-Easterns, at ARHS. He is now a senior at Yale University, where prior to being selected for the Whiffenpoofs of Yale, he was a member of the Bakers Dozen a cappella group, which also toured extensively.

Though not competing on NBC's The Sing Off this year, the Whiffenpoofs will perform on all seven continents, ending with their world tour this May through August.

In December, the Whiffenpoofs sang at the White House for the Obama family.
