Imagining Summer -- Photographer on the Loose

Summer is a perfect time in New England to get out and around to favorite places, crank up the exercise routine, and enjoy some good deck sitting and gardening.

The summer of 2013 has been a fun one for this photographer. A nifty new little travel camera (an Olympus XZ-1) and the temptation to add some zest to several photos (I’ll let you guess which ones) with in-camera filtering and post processing, add to the enjoyment of this most beautiful part of the world. There have been no long vacations – I am getting ready for a ramble to Colorado, Nevada and Northern California, replete with several train rides, in less than a month, but a bunch of day trips and one long weekend in New Hampshire. Why go anywhere when there is so much to see and do around here!!!
