Selectmen OK 4-Month Extension to Cable License

The additional time will allow the town and Charter Communications to continue negotiating a renewal license, and "may not be necessary," Town Administrator John Coderre told the board Monday night.

Selectmen have approved a four-month extension of Northborough cable TV contract with Charter Communications.

The additional time will allow the town and Charter to continue negotiating a renewal license, and "may not be necessary," Town Administrator John Coderre told the board Monday night.

The extension means the current license expires on Feb. 16, 2014, rather than Oct. 16, 2013, Coderre said.
