Private Shooting Range Expected to Return to Northborough

After Town Meeting rejected ban ordinance, resident plans on making upgrades.

A local man plans on re-starting a private gun range that he has been using on his property for years after Town Meeting rejected an ordinance to ban the range, according to a report on WCVB-TV
Dave Brown constructed the range decades ago before there were homes built around his home.
About four years ago, neighbors balked at the range, and police forced him to stop using the range. He sued and won in court. The town appealed and even created an ordinance to address the concerns of neighbors. That ordinance, however, was rejected at Town Meeting this week.
Brown said he plans on making more upgrades to the range to ensure safety and not disturb neighbors.
