Crews working on the construction to expand the Walmart on Otis Street arrived to work on Monday morning to find that an expensive welder had been stolen.
Investigated by officer K. Agiomavritis, it is believed that the item was stolen sometime overnight.
The welder was a Miller CST 280 valued at approximately $5,000, according to police.
There are no leads at this time, and there have been no similar incidents, according to Det. Brian Griffin.
