Used Cooking Oil Stolen From Mandarin Pan and Athens Pizza

It's the first time Northborough police have encountered this type of crime.

Waste cooking oil was stolen from the property of Mandarin Pan and Athens Pizza restaurants sometime late Tuesday night, according to Northborough police.

On Wednesday, June 6, Northborough officer Kelly took a report from American By-Products regarding the theft of waste cooking oil. The oil was supposed to have been picked up by American By-Products from Mandarin Pan and Athens Pizza. Left out by Mandarin Pan, the oil was stolen sometime during the overnight hours.

"This is a first that I have heard of this type of crime," said Sgt. Det. Brian Griffin.
