Swan Crosses Road in Northborough

Although it's turkey season, a swan caught some attention in Northborough on Sunday.

Someone on Bartlett Street reported a swan in the road at 8:13 a.m., according to the Northborough Police log.

An officer checked on the swan, and it was okay.

At 11:59 a.m., police received a report from Allen Court of a hit-and-run accident.

At 1:11 p.m., police received a report from Increase Ward Drive from someone believing hunters were shooting in the Cherry Street area. An officer checked the area, and found nothing.

At 5:37 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Foxwood Lane.

At 8:30 p.m., police received a report from Bartlett Street that a vehicle entered the power line area.
