Resident Allegedly Breaks Into Neighbor's Home, Steals Alcohol

The incident happened Tuesday.

A Howe Street resident allegedly broke into a neighbor's home on Tuesday, stole multiple bottles of alcohol, and then left a trail of broken bottles, Northborough Police say.

Police arrested Tara Ann McLeod, 20, of 5 Howe Lane, and charged her with defacing property, breaking and entering during the daytime for a felony, and larceny under $250.

Police received a report at 5:33 p.m. from a Howe Lane resident stating that someone had entered her home and trashed it, according to the Northborough Police log.

A State Police K-9 searched the area, Northborough Police Sgt. Demosthenes Agiomavritis said.
