Police Respond to Two A&B Calls, One on Pregnant Woman

Two arrests for assault were made over the weekend.

Northborough police responded to two calls for domestic disputes over the weekend, leading to two arrests. 

Shortly before 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, Northborough police responded to a home that involved an assault. Police say Donna Madamba, 51, 14 Fairway Dr., punched and kicked her husband in the face and groin area. She also spat on him and scratched him behind the ear with her fingernails, according to police. The incident started, according to the report, because Madamba accused her husband of having a girlfriend. She was arrested and charged with domestic A&B. 

That evening, police responded to the area of Lawrence Street near Motel 6 for a a report of a physical domestic incident that had just occurred. 

The woman, who is 12 weeks pregnant, told police that she and Koran Hall, 21, 18 Curve St., West Newton, argued outside of Motel 6, and during the argument, Hall walked away and she followed. The woman said she "was on the phone with another girl when she caught up to him," according to police.

The woman said that she tried to grab Hall's phone, and got very close, and continued to yell at one another. Hall then, according to the report, grabbed her upper arms and squeezed very tightly while they yelled at each other, and then shoved her, struck her shoulder, and she fell on the pavement. 

Hall was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery on a pregnant female
