Northborough Resident Faces 3rd Drunken Driving Charge

A Northborough resident faces his third drunken driving charge after a reported two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries Saturday night.

Police arrested John A. Desjardins, 52, of 200 Hudson St., Apt. 21, and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor, third offense; as well as a marked lanes violation, according to the Northborough Police log.

Police received a report of the accident on Hudson Street at 7:11 p.m. McFee and Newton was called for a tow.

On Friday, at 10:28 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Route 9.

At 12:23 p.m., someone requested a well-being check for a male on West Main Street. The person was gone when police arrived.

At 1:30 p.m., someone on Pierce Street reported a utility scam.

At 3:15 p.m., police received a request for a well-being check on a 71-year-old male on Village Drive. He wasn't home when police arrived.

At 5:39 p.m., police received a report from West Main Street of a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

At 6:05 p.m., police assisted the fire department with an automatic fire alarm investigation on Main Street.

At 6:13 p.m., police received a report from Southwest Cutoff of a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

On Saturday, at 8:06 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Route 9.

At 9:34 a.m., police assisted the fire department with an automatic fire alarm investigation on Avalon Drive.

At 10:11 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a fire alarm on West Main Street.

At 10:47 a.m., police received a report from Pinehaven Drive of an accident involving a mail truck and a motor vehicle.

At 11:39 a.m., police received a report from Church Street of a two-car motor vehicle accident.

At 12:26 p.m., someone on Southwest Cutoff asked to speak with an officer about an incident that happened while driving.

At 1:21 p.m., police received a report from Shops Way of two children left in a motor vehicle. Police checked, and the children were okay.

At 2:33 p.m., police received a report from Southwest Cutoff of a hit-and-run accident that happened overnight.

At 3:14 p.m., an officer was at Shops Way to help staff with a customer.

At 10:09 p.m., someone reported an issue with the parking lot cleaners at Shops Way.
