Police Issue Civil Citation For Marijuana Possession

Here are the highlights of the Northborough Police log for Tuesday, courtesy of the Northborough Police Department:

At 9:04 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a lift assist on Washburn Street.

At 9:46 a.m., police received a report from Rutland Road of stolen bicycles.

At 11:30 a.m., on Route 9, police issued a criminal complaint for unregistered/uninsured operation. Police called McFee and Newton for a tow.

At 11:55 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Kent Drive.

At 1:09 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Pleasant Street.

At 1:14 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Shops Way.

At 5:08 p.m., police assisted the ambulance with a medical on Main Street.

At 7:32 p.m., on Whitney Street, police issued a civil citation for marijuana possession.

At 7:50 p.m., police assisted the ambulance with a medical on Forbes Road.

At 8:02 p.m., police assisted the fire department with an alarm activation on Southwest Cutoff.

At 8:04 p.m., police assisted the ambulance with a medical on Otis Street.

At 8:23 p.m., police assisted the fire department with smoke in a residence on Pleasant Street.

At 9:53 p.m., police received a report from Gates Lane of a barking dog. Police checked the area, and found nothing.

At 10:17 p.m., police received a report from West Main Street of a dark grey, 40- to 45-pound unknown breed dog deceased in the road. Police notified the highway department to pick up the dog.

At 10:40 p.m., police assisted the ambulance with a medical on Avalon Drive.
