Oh Deer: Two Struck By Cars in Northborough Monday Night

Oh deer.

Two deer were struck by motor vehicles in Northborough on Monday night, according to the Northborough Police log.

At 8:37 p.m., police received a report from South Street of a struck deer in the road. The deer was put down. Police planned to ask the highway department to pick up the deer. The car involved was gone when police arrived.

At 9:04 p.m., police received a report from Green Street that a car struck a deer. The deer was dead when police arrived.

On Monday, at 10:33 a.m., police received a report from Route 9 of a two-car motor vehicle accident.

At 12:36 p.m., police received a report from Ball Street of a dog in a vehicle. Police said the dog was safe.

At 12:57 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Washburn Street.

At 2:21 p.m., police received a report from Ball Street of a dog in a black mini-van.

At 2:49 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Howard Street.

At 3:59 p.m., police received a report from Crawford Street of a motor vehicle striking a beaver. Police notified the highway department to pick up the deceased beaver on Tuesday morning.

At 6:19 p.m., police received a report from Church Street of a black and white Jack Russell terrier in the store. Police notified animal control, then canceled the call after the owner got their dog.

At 6:50 p.m., police assisted the ambulance with a medical on Beeman Road.

At 7:19 p.m., police assisted the ambulance with a medical on Longfellow Road.

At 9:46 p.m., on Talbot Road, police arrested Stephen A. Webb, 21, of 131 Pleasant St., Apt. 3, Marlborough, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.

On Tuesday, at 6:40 a.m., police received a report from Green Street that a Social Security number was stolen.
