Northborough Resident Charged With Assault and Battery

A Northborough man was charged with domestic assault and battery after an incident on Church Street on Monday night.

Police arrested David R. Dingley, 57, of 370 Church St., after a caller reported at 9:39 p.m. a possible overdose, according to the Northborough Police log. One person was taken to Marlborough Hospital.

On Monday, at 11:26 a.m., on Westbrook Road, police arrested Peter Jonathan Callahan, 45, of 48 Westbrook Road, Apt. B., Northborough on a warrant.

At 11:43 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Shops Way.

At 2:40 p.m., police received a report from Avalon Drive of threats via the Internet.

At 3:42 p.m., police received a report from Southwest Cutoff of a motor vehicle accident. Police called McFee and Newton for one tow.

At 7:41 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Hudson Street.

At 8:19 p.m., someone in the police station lobby reported the use of a motor vehicle without authority.

At 10:21 p.m., police received a report from Church Street that the caller's dog had struck a dog in the roadway.

At 11:40 p.m., someone from the group home on East Main Street walked into the police station lobby. Police contacted the person's daughter to get them.

On Tuesday, at 3:33 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a public assist on Hudson Street.
