Updated:No Injuries in Avalon Drive Bedroom Fire
Fire Chief David Durgin estimated the damage at reaching or exceeding $2,000.
A first-floor apartment on Avalon Drive is "questionable habitable" after an accidental bedroom fire Thursday, Northborough Fire Chief David Durgin said.
The resident of the 7000 building reported the fire at 8:41 a.m., Durgin said.
The first police officer at the scene used a fire extinguisher to extinguish "a good part" of the fire, the chief said.
Durgin estimated the damage at reaching or exceeding $2,000.
No injuries were reported, he said.
