Lost Dog; Car Vs. Pole

Aug. 13

7:09 p.m.: A caller reported finding a lost dog on Whitney St. Animal control was dispatched to pick up the dog.

8:58 p.m.: A 54-year-old Marlborough man was arrested on a suspended license on Bartlett St. in Northborough. Paul McAleer, of 81 Cook Lane, Marlborough, was charged with failure to stop or yield and for operating on a suspended license for OUI.

9:52 p.m.: A car accident was reported on Maple St. A car struck a pole, but no injuries were reported.

10:08 p.m.: A fire alarm was automatically activated on Lyman St.

11:31 p.m.: A resident reported two unwanted parties at the residence.

Aug. 14

12:51 a.m.: Shrewsbury Police called in asking for aid with a residential alarm on Turtle Creek Circle in Shrewbury.

4:45 a.m.: Northborough Police assisted the fire department with an alarm investigation on Lyman St.
