Man Guilty of Mistreating Police Dog or Horse

Sarceno Donis, 30, of 601 Main St., Clinton, was summonsed to court on a complaint by Northborough police on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop and yield. Judge Robert Calgione found Donis responsible on a decriminalized charge of driving after license suspension and not responsible on the failure to  stop or yield charge and ordered him to pay $700 in fees.  

Amilcar Barshona, 25, of 106 Maple Ave., Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint from Shrewsbury police on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, refusal to identity self and using a false name. Judge Robert Calgione reduced the main charge to a cvil infraction and found him responsible and ordered him to pay a $500 fine. The two other charges were dismissed.

Tyrick A. Brown, 19, of 123 Colonels Ave., Apt. 28, Weymouth, was summonsed to court on a criminal complaint by Westborough police to face charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Judge Robert Calgioneset a pretrial hearing for Dec. 13. 

Frank A. Desposito, 20, of 62 Allen St., Northborough, was arrested by Northborough police and charged with operating under the influence of drugs. Judge Robert Calgione continued the case without a finding for one year, and ordered Desposito to pay $600 in court costs, to attend a treatment program and ordered a 210-day loss of license. 

Judge Robert Calgione found Thomas F. Hussey, 48, of 58 Londonderry Rd., Grafton, guilty on charges of assault on a police officer and mistreatment or interfering with a police dog or horse and was sentenced to six months in the House of Corrections, with credit for 65 days served. Shrewsbury police had arrested Hussey in August after an incident in Grafton. Related charges of disturbing the police were dismissed. 

Dennis L. Hagerman, 28, of 35 Main St., Spencer, was arrested by Grafton police on charges of breaking and entering in the daytime and larceny over $250. udge Robert Calgione found Hagerman guilty and ordered him to serve two years in the House of Correction, with 18 months to be served and the rest committed for three years. He was also ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution.
