Loose Dog Allegedly Attacks Chickens

A loose dog allegedly attacked some chickens on Maynard Street on Tuesday.

The chickens' owner reported the incident to Northborough Police at 3;28 p.m., according to the Northborough Police log.

The caller described the dog as "a husky looking dog with a collar and electric collar but no tags," according to the log.

Police paged animal control.

At 4:55 p.m., police received a report from Otis Street of the larceny of a purse.

At 9:31 p.m., at Belmont Street/Route 9, police issued a criminal complaint for a narcotic drug violation.

At 9:41 p.m., police assisted the ambulance with a medical on Hudson Street.

At 10:41 p.m., police received a report from Belmont Street/Route 9 of an intoxicated female banging on the doors of others. She returned to her room for the night.
