LOG: Vacuum Noise Complaint Investigated on Pleasant Street

The Northborough Police Department supplied the following information.

Incidents

May 20, 2014

  • 2:27 a.m. Police reported a narcotic drug violation on Belmont Street/Route 9.
  • 6:06 a.m. An ambulance was sent to Village Drive.
  • 6:56 a.m. EMTs performed a medical call on School Street.
  • 7:22 a.m. A loose goat was reported at the high school.
  • 7:23 a.m. A noise complaint was filed on Pleasant Street about a person vacuuming. Police were unable to locate the noise.
  • 7:52 a.m. A man turned himself in on a warrant.
  • 8:24 a.m. A larceny of a purse was reported on Otis Street.
  • 8:59 a.m. An ambulance was sent to West Main Street.
  • 9:50 a.m. EMTs were called to Forbes Road for a medical call.
  • 10:45 a.m. Police were called to Assabet Drive after a school requested a wellbeing check. The party was not home at the time.
  • 11:10 a.m. Police were sent to Hudson Street for a wellbeing check on a woman and she was assisted.
  • 12:12 p.m. A motor vehicle was reported stolen on West Main Street.
  • 2:11 p.m. An accident from South Street was filed by mail to the police.
  • 2:54 p.m. EMTs were sent to a medical call on Main Street.
  • 4:11 p.m. A two-vehicle crash, with personal injury, was reported on West Main Street.
  • 4:57 p.m. An ambulance was sent to Lincoln Street.
  • 8:41 p.m. Police assisted firefighters with a fire in the woods on Church Street.
  • 9 p.m. Police and firefighters were sent to a medical call on Main Street.
  • 9:35 p.m. EMTs performed a medical call on Hudson Street.

  • 5:43 a.m. EMTs were sent to School Street for a medical call.
  • 7:04 a.m. Police were called to Bartlett Street for a report of a large crowd disrupting traffic. Police found it to be a gathering that was overseen by faculty and there was no issue.
  • 7:17 a.m. A loose cat was found on Bartlett Street and Animal Control was notified.
  • 9:05 a.m. Police assisted EMTs with a medical call on Hoover Road.
  • 9:51 a.m. Police assisted EMTs with a medical call on Crawford Street.
  • 3:15 p.m. A CO detector activated on Crawford Street.
  • 3:54 p.m. EMTs were sent to a medical call on Main Street.
  • 4:39 p.m. A report of a 14-year-old female runaway came in from West Main Street. The child was later found and an officer transported her to the station around 6 p.m.
  • 5 p.m. Police were called to damage by a tree branch on West Main Street.
  • 5 p.m. Police were called to Brigham Street for a report of a man concerned about his daughter and granddaughter. One was taken into custody.
  • 5:17 p.m. An ambulance was sent to West Main Street.
  • 5:32 p.m. EMTs were sent to South Street.
  • 5:49 p.m. Police were sent to School Street for a neighbors disputing property lines.
  • 6:40 p.m. A two-vehicle crash was reported on Belmont Street/Route 9 with one person being transported to Shrewsbury.
  • 6:54 p.m. A two-car crash, without injuries, was reported on West Main Street.
  • 7 p.m. Northborough Police were called to Shrewsbury for a mutual aid call.
  • 7:30 p.m. A three-car crash, without injuries, was reported on Southwest Cutoff.
  • 9:27 p.m. A vehicle struck a retaining wall on Silas Drive.
  • 9:49 p.m. An odor of natural gas was reported on Avalon Drive but the call was cancelled en route.
